AUDIO TAPES

HOW TO ORDER;  return to Catalog Index page

Please Note: The items listed in this catalog are available only to those individuals who are visually impaired or whose handicap prevents them from using normal print.  Also note that items marked with an asterisk (*) are not available for purchase.   They are available on loan from the library only.

Except for a few items, the materials listed in this catalog are recorded in "Talking-Book" format. Talking-Books are recorded at 1/2 normal speed and on each of the 4 tracks separately. This permits the equivalent of 4 standard tapes to be recorded onto one Talking-Book tape.

T-B tapes require a special tape player;  they will NOT play on a standard tape player.
Players may be obtained "free of charge" through the Library of Congress or its regional libraries. You may call the Library of Congress, National Library Service at:
1-800-424-9100 for information. The Bahá'í Service for the Blind does NOT provide or repair these players.

Also many of our tapes can be listened to or downloaded on the web at:
